Professional Experience

Yiannis graduated from the University of Essex in the UK where he received a BA (Hons) degree in Accounting and Financial Management. He subsequently joint PKF in year 1997, originally as a trainee Chartered Accountant, where now he is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).

He is the head of the VAT department of the firm and after having more than 15 years of experience in this area, can provide in-depth and reliable advise on VAT matters at both Local, EU and International level. In addition he is the engagement director in charge for the audit of a number of companies.

Yiannis has taken part as a speaker in various local and international VAT seminars and conferences. He has also contributed in the issuance of articles and VAT publications around the EU.

As from year 2018 he is also a member of the VAT Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.
